Description

This frame has a series of stepped flats with a narrow row of beads and ribbon and stick below a flat raised edge. The profile rises in a cove with flutes and acanthus leaf corners to a leaf and berry top edge with corner straps. Cove sides and a dentil back edge. Original gilding obscured by bronze paint.
