Description

This frame has a narrow, convex detail at the sight edge rising in delicate reeds on an ogee profile with a wider reed at the top. Cove and plain flat sides. original finish unknown with bronze overpaint. Known as a “Degas” frame for it’s reeding as a style of frames Degas preferred for his paintings.

Rabbet Size: 30 1/4 x 36 1/4

Moulding Width: 3 5/8
