Description
This frame has a plain sight edge with a high relief convex floral band above a burnished cove. Acanthus leaves and flower bunches rise above on a curving, textured profile. Original gilding. This frame originally had another frame surrounding it. The sides are not gilded. Metropolitan Art Museum label
