Late 19th C. American carved, gold leaf frame

Frame #1862



This frame has a narrow slip with two steps. The main frame has a cove and a prominent convex top with leaves radiating out from the crossed ribbons at the centers to fanned leaves at the corners. Two narrow coves and a flat shape the sides. Original gilding.

Rabbet Size: 36 7/16 x 38 9/16

Moulding Width: 3
