Early 20th C. American, Roman gilded and applied ornament cove frame

This frame has a flat liner with a raised leaf pattern and a frieze rising in a cove with low relief volutes on both sides of the extended corners with curling leaves and volutes. The extended centers have volutes that define the top edges. Cove sides with a low relief leaf motif at the outside edge. Worn original gilding.
