Early 19th C. French applied ornament and gold leaf Empire frame

Frame #2096



This frame has a leaf edge with narrow torus rising in a wide cove with corners adorned with leaves, tendrils, cornucopias, grape leaves and roundels. A half round top edge with plain flat painted sides all typical of the Empire period.

Rabbet Size: 23 3/4 X 30 1/8

Moulding Width: 3 1/4

Any of our frames can be restored, re-sized or have a gilded liner added to alter the size.
