Early 19th C. European gold leaf frame with applied ornament

This frame has a flat liner below a flat raised band rising in a plain cove to a plain rounded top edge. The corners of the cove and top edge are overlaid with floral and curling leaf motifs. The yellow ocher sides slope inward wit a cove and wider flat. Original gilding.

Rabbet Size: 19 1/8 x 25 7/16

Moulding Width: 4.25
