19th C. Italian carved, gold leaf reverse profile frame

This frame has a narrow beveled sight edge with two rows of beads and reels and a stylized leaf motif rising to a a raised flat top with carved floral garlands. The sides drop down with a cove and a carved curling leaf and stick design on the back edge.
Gold paint over the original finish. Frame makers label: Florence.
