Mid 19th C. American gold leaf and applied ornament spotted cove frame

This frame has a steep cove with a stencil patterned texture and leaves in the corners. The reeded top edge with crossed straps at the corners and centers sits above two ogee shaped bands on either side. Side coves with a delicate leaf motif on the back edge. Original gilding. Missing liner
