Description

This frame has a ribbon and stick motif at the oval sight edge with the flat spandrels covered in leaves and tendrils. The prominent pierced, convex top profile has a profusion of leaves curling outward from the centers to acanthus leaf corners . All of which overhang the lower pierced cove with curling leaves and outer edge with a row of overlapping leaves. Original gold leaf.
