Description

This frame has a flat liner rising in plain and ornamented bands to a flat frieze with a low relief C-scrolls and leaves. The main ogee profile is covered with acanthus leaves and floral motifs above which is a a convex bundle of reeds bound with intermittent straps and at the corners. Cove sides with row of leaf tips at the back edge. Original gilding obscured with bronze paint.

Moulding Width: 7 3/4
