Late 19th C. American gold leaf cove frame with applied ornament

This frame has a row of small beads at the sight edge with a steep cove with anthemions and leaves in the corners. The top edge has prominent laurel leaf and berries with straps at the corners. Cove sides and a spiraling ribbon and stick motif at the back edge. Original gilding. Liner missing.
