Description
This frame has a flat sight edge rising with a narrow band of leaves, a small cove with a row of beads dropping into a broad cove. The ogee profile with acanthus leaves and floral buds rises to a laurel leaf and berry design with crossed ribbons and corner straps at the top edge. Cove sides with leaf tip design at the back edge. Original gilding obscured with bronze paint.
