Description

This frame has a foliate sight edge with a cove and convex profile below the large cove with broad stylized acanthus leaves with curled tips. The top edge has an elongated bead and leaf motif with a narrow flat band dropping to a convex shape with a perpendicular U-shaped design. Side coves with a narrow decoration at the back edge. Original gilding with bronze glaze or paint partially over acanthus leaves.

Moulding Width: 6 5/8

Any of our frames can be restored, re-sized or have a gilded liner added to alter the size.
