Late 19th C. American gold leaf frame with delicate applied leaf and flower motifs

This frame has a narrow flat sight edge, a row of beads and a cove rising to a wide laurel leaf and berry motif. The flat frieze has flowers, ferns and wheat below a small floral design. The broad convex top edge has an intricate leaf and tendril design. Cove sides with a leaf and berry design at the back edge. Original gilding.
