Description

This frame has a flat liner with a narrow band of fluting set between two raised bands. The convex profile rises above with diagonal bands forming squares in a geometric pattern with smaller inset square containing stylized flowers. The top outer edge is a narrow flat descending on a bevel with carved pyramid shapes to the back edge with an oval and circlets motif. Original gilding with an umber glaze. The frame has Pre-Raphaelite style influences.
