Early 20th C. European gold metal leaf, carved Louis XV style frame.

This frame has narrow cove at the sight edge below extended carved corners with outward radiating leaves. The centers have a leaf and band motif which rest between swept sides topped with S shaped scrolls. Deep cove sides rising to a narrow ridge with a narrow convex band and cove. Original gilding.
